Some developers set a target of 30 FPS to achieve a more polished, cinematic experience. This approach prioritizes visual quality and immersion over raw performance. Many studios feel that 30 FPS provides a better balance for storytelling and atmosphere, especially in action or adventure games. Others worry that pushing higher FPS can strain hardware or compromise frame stability, making the game feel less realistic. The debate often centers on what feels most engaging for players rather than strict technical benchmarks.

They're spreading false information and can't seem to put in the work to improve their game for PCs.

Due to the farmers. Offering reasons for peasants to rationalize buying a costly/weak gaming device. Also, it's Ubisoft...what were you hoping for?

It's unlikely they'd secure FC4 on a PC since it's a first-person shooter. I doubt they would do that.

Peasants overlook the change, so why not settle for a 30-frame clip? A big drop from 60 to 30 fps is clear even for most peasants, which explains why "resolution is just a number" UBISOFT should limit it.

It's quite funny how console gamers used to ignore low resolutions and framerate specs. Now everyone seems to care, as if these numbers truly matter. It's like they're realizing revenue is just another number too!
