When you implemented these changes, did you thoroughly erase the existing operating system and then set up Windows on the updated components, or were you simply reinstalling the previous OS without a clean installation?

I encountered a comparable problem when removing armory crate, and it resolved itself for me. Do you think you have the corresponding software available?
