I'm really struggling, my games keep crashing or freezing a lot. I have CS2, Forza Horizon 5, Palworld, Naraka Bladepoint, and more. Most of the time they crash to the desktop or freeze completely, rarely restarting or showing a blue screen. I just updated some parts of my system.

My setup includes:
- Ryzen 5 7600x
- Asus ROG Strix b650 e-f wi-fi
- Corsair Vengeance RGB 2x16GB DDR5 6000mhz C30
- Thermalright PS120SE ARGB
- ASUS DUAL NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 OC Edition
- m2 nvme Samsung 980 PRO 2TB
- 1tb NVMe SSD Samsung 970 EVO Plus
- 250gb SSD Samsung 850 EVO

I've tried disabling RAM XMP in BIOS, updating Windows 10 and 11 a few times, installing new drivers, using only one RAM stick, switching RAMs, and applying various software fixes found online. I ran MemTest on the drives and used memtest to check for errors, but nothing came up. The boot time is also unusually long, around 40-50 seconds.

I need to figure out if the issue is hardware-related so I can replace the faulty component. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

How many RAM sticks are there? Test them individually if you have several. Also consider running memtest86+ overnight.

Actually, I won't try it until I finish the OCCT CPU test...

check the event viewer - windows logs - applications, it should display some red error messages when the app crashes to the desktop. The most frequent error is 0xc0000005 (under exception code), usually caused by file corruption.

memory issues may lead to file corruption as well, and data moves across your RAM. Still, turn off XMP/EXPO, run a test, if no problems appear and games don’t crash, perform a drive scan for errors. Execute chkdsk c: /f, sfc /scannow, DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth. Reinstall all redistributables—this package works in one step. Latest Visual C++ Redistributable Runtimes All-in-One Dec 2025 Download is available. This archive holds the newest version (December 2025) of all VCRedist Visual Studio C++ runtimes, ready to install with a single click via the provided link. Also, repair damaged games using their launchers or reinstall them.
