CPU and GPU are running at normal temperatures, but the system still underclocks. This could happen due to software settings, background processes, or hardware limitations. Check for updates, disable unnecessary services, or review thermal management options.

I don't have a motherboard, but I can help you find information about it if you tell me your system requirements or what you're building.

Windows 10 is currently up to date. The most recent update was applied recently. Regarding BIOS, it hasn't been changed since the last installation.

Do you have a tailored OC? It seems your BIOS might not be current, or the motherboard could need a custom OC. Is this something AC has done before, or is it new? Are other games doing the same? I’m leaning toward resetting the CMOS, saving the XMP settings, and confirming the Turbo is still configured properly.

The BIOS has been updated from version 1203 to 1301. I've just begun playing AC, while other games haven't done this yet. I don’t have any custom overclock settings.

Check the settings for VSync or frame rate limits—some titles include these options by default.

Cover cap secured. VSync tested both with and without it. I posted a thread on Ubisoft Forums, but haven’t received any official reply yet—it looks like it’s been buried there. The unusual part was that I ran it on my older machine, which is much weaker than my main rig, and it actually performed better: Makes no sense :S
