Hey there! I heard you've recently upgraded your PC with new motherboards and an SSD setup. You're trying to use Windows 7 Professional on it, but you're having trouble with the snapping feature—especially aligning windows side by side. You've checked tools like gpedit.msc and Ease of Access, but it's still not working. I'm curious if anyone has any tips or solutions besides reinstalling Windows. Could you share more details about your build? Thanks a lot!

Refers to the functionality where dragging a window across the screen moves it horizontally.

Try using Win+→ for snapping left, Win+← for snapping right, and Win+↑ to zoom in. If this works, something unusual is happening. If not, it's probably because the aero snap feature is disabled. To reactivate it, visit the "Change How your Mouse Works" page (press Start, type "mouse", select the second option with the accessibility icon), then uncheck "Prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen." After that, press apply and you should be able to snap windows.
