Search for the EAbackground service.exe in its directory using File Explorer. Right-click it, go to Properties > Security > Advanced, and capture a screenshot to review accounts and their access rights. Consider uploading the image to share. It may be the permissions that are causing the shutdown. Another approach is to type "msconfig" without quotes, then uncheck the box "Load Startup Items" in Selective Startup, restart the system, and run the EA service and game to check if it disables. Please let us know the outcome.
For the Selective startup it won't work. I changed the system configuration as an admin, turned off "load startup items," pressed apply, then ok and closed the window. When I reopened the config, it went back to [Normal Startup]. It's unclear what this means, but it might help.
Not sure, there are more than 70 background services and I think about 20 might be recognizable. The [Services tab] lists around 200 services running. I’d say more than half of them are just Windows being Windows (bloat).
When you choose not to select "Load Statup Items," you must restart the system afterward. After that, launch the EA service and play the game for some time to check if the issue persists, possibly because of a startup application or service. It's a rare possibility but worth attempting.
I checked the Task Scheduler and didn't find anything out of the ordinary.
Check this part separately from the windows firewall... Consider adding the service app to the allowed list.

You might also attempt setting up another local administrator account with a different name as suggested in step 2 of the web link. **(Keep your regular login account unchanged each time)** Access the newly created account, install the game and EA software application, and test it within this new account to check if it disables functionality.

If these options fail, consider performing a "RepairUpgrade" on top of the existing one. I’ve done this before using similar setup versions such as 21H2, 22H2, 23H2, etc., by double-clicking the .iso file and launching setup.exe in File Explorer.
