the build: mobo ... ROG STRIX X370-F GAMING ATX AM4 cpu ... Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7 GHz 8-Core dram ... 4x TEAMGROUP T-Force Dark Z 8 GB DDR4-3200 CL16 gpu ... ASUS DUAL EVO GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB (( I only have the gpu plugged in because the cpu does not have integrated graphics )) psu ... Corsair SF750 750 W 80+ Platinum Cert Fully Modular (( My testbench gpu, if you were wondering why the atx mobo but sff psu )) Short summary I attempted to relocate my PC into a new case and encountered issues during the process, now it's under investigation for troubleshooting. The DRAM indicator flashes continuously upon startup and the boot process stalls. I tested each of the four slots individually, changing one at a time, but consistently received the same DRAM LED signal. This suggests either all RAM units failed simultaneously or there’s a problem with the slots themselves. It’s possible the CPU is having difficulty accessing the memory due to physical misalignment or damage. Someone more experienced could help confirm if this makes sense or if another factor is at play.

Have you checked every single port on the motherboard? Possibly the CPU's memory controller is the issue.

When it was first released, the 2700x received attention for not booting properly due to high RAM speeds. You might need to reduce the RAM speed to better suit the system. AMD claims support up to 2933MHz, but I suspect lowering it to around 2888MHz with two sticks could work. Trying 2666 with four sticks seems like another option.

AMD claims support up to 2933MHz, but I suspect lowering it to around 2888MHz with two sticks could work. Trying 2666 with four sticks seems like another option.

It appears you’ve altered the pin connected to the memory controller, which seems to have resolved the problem before. You might want to inspect the bent pin and check if further adjustments are needed. I’m worried about telling you to keep bending it back and forth since it could eventually break. However, I’m fairly sure the issue lies with the pin itself. Before proceeding, make sure to reset the BIOS to its default settings in case a configuration is causing the problem—this is quite common with AM4 and AM5 boards.
