I see some people questioning whether this matches the sff version, but I’m not convinced just by looking. Remember, the sff version still uses a micro ATX motherboard, so most advice remains applicable—just confirm with a photo of your PC’s exterior. Also, keep in mind the new PSU won’t fit, but it should work fine. Just be cautious.

I've relied on a cardboard box for a case several times. In fact, I've repurposed the top of the motherboard box more than once. As long as it stays dry and shielded, a cardboard box can serve you temporarily while you look for funds or wait for the right PC to appear on the Canadian version of Craigslist. SFF offers only two PCIe slots and uses a slimline ODD. This model has four and a really thick guy.

It’s clear the new PSU won’t fit and your graphics card options are limited. I modified a case on a similar model, putting the motherboard into a micro ATX case—probably the simplest solution. I hope Dell used more common connectors! There seem to be several versions, since the one I worked with was different from what you described.

All I need is something to use that'll keep my components safe. I mean at this point idrc about the look of it until later this year when I have enough money
