I've already placed an order for a 600w power supply that doesn't fit in my current setup. My new GPU is a GTX 980TI, which I just received today. I was planning to upgrade the case but decided against it—maybe I should just replace the case or buy a fresh motherboard, CPU, and RAM. Or I could go with it without a case since I'm on a tight budget.

Do yard sales exist in Canada? Yes, many people do. You’ll often find vintage computers like old Dell or HP models, sometimes with decent (though not always flawless) cases. It’s quite enjoyable swapping a Dell board into an HP shell.

We can definitely do that. Spending a month or two without a case could be fine if you're careful. Just make sure you handle everything gently and avoid any stress on the components. You've already learned a lot from those tutorials—great preparation!
