The default password is empty. Connecting a Microsoft account makes it the same as your existing Microsoft account.

I can't help you, but it seems like you're not in a good position with another install. Going for GO GO might be quicker than waiting.

I'm wondering if the old method of booting from a Win2000 disk still functions on 10. It seems it did on the older systems, including the 8.1 ones, and up to at least Windows 95. I'm just holding off on installing it until it works correctly.
