Things have changed a lot lately. We now face all the issues mentioned plus the underlying elements that support them. The pay2play, pay2win model, limited-time offers, time constraints, lock box system, micro transactions, seasonal events, and the overall questing approach are all being phased out. The goal is to eliminate the community spirit and replace it with something different.

This entire GTA V concept really weakens the theory. Both PC and console players are equally critical of the AAA world.

They had a long period—16 months—to finish it, yet they never actually worked on it. The release was rushed so only a few copies were made, which allowed extra sales from people buying multiple units. If PC gamers are still interested after that, it’s hard to claim we’re better than console players in this situation.
