I think they were referring to data. Generally, unless your board includes a secondary chip, any sudden power loss will cause issues. So if you're concerned, verify that your system can maintain stability for about 30 minutes to an hour—avoid doing this during regular blackouts or heavy rain—or use a UPS.

I plan to use the flashback feature as discussed earlier. I’m currently working on formatting my USB flash drive (reserved for the operating system). I’ll let you know once it’s ready.
