I recall this discussion a while back, but I think I have a fix. Launch the icon, navigate to settings, ensure “Enable full software control” is off. Return to the home screen, tap on your RAM modules, select lighting effects, and press the plus button on the right. Pick static color and set RGB values to 0,0,0. This should turn them black or off. Go back to settings and toggle the “enable full software control” switch on. Then back to your RAM, choose lighting effects and adjust as desired. The idea is that when powered on, the RAM switches to internal memory mode (set by “enable full software control” OFF), then changes to software memory (ON). The only drawback is increased CPU usage—sometimes up to 10-12.5%—possibly due to optimization issues from Corsair. To verify your CPU load, type “CPU” in the bottom-left search bar and open the Corsair Service tool. Fingers crossed they’ll resolve this soon! Let me know if you need more help.
