SOLVED!!!!!!! I'm still unsure what it was, but I went shopping and found an Electrical Contact Cleaner. I thought I'd give it a shot, got home and sprayed it onto the 24 pin, 8 pin connector and motherboard. A few hours later, I tried it and it worked perfectly! Thanks for all the help, really appreciated!!
However there’s another problem unfortunately, the motherboard provides two display outputs—DVI and VGA—but there’s no signal from the GPU, and the DVI cable to HDMI I have from the motherboard isn’t working. I don’t have a VGA monitor to test this option, and I’m not sure what to do now. The CMOS won’t help either; I’m trying to figure out a solution right now. If you have any ideas, it would be great 🙏
I attempted to remove the GPU and used motherboard video outputs without success, my partner smokes and I do smoke, and we’re in the middle of Ireland so there’s no salt here 😂 I might try the contact cleaner on the PCIE now, but it needs to dry before use. Thank you, looks nicer at night with all the LEDs 👌
