Hey everyone, my partner and I have gaming setups in the same room. We moved mine around a bit and everything seemed fine, with both of us having our computers on the tables. However, when we shifted her table about 1-2 meters without touching the PC, it just started spinning the fans without any noticeable delay, and the LED lights turned on at the same time as the fans. Everything was working perfectly before this happened.
Here are my specs:
- Motherboard: Asrock H310CM DVS
- CPU: I5-8500
- GPU: GTX 1070 ti
- RAM: 16GB Corsair 2400MHz
- Cooler: Master liquid ML240MM Watercooler
- Power supply: Kolink 750W
- Connectors: Custom sleeves on all connectors for a cleaner look
I've tried several things:
- Cleared CMOS
- Removed the CMOS battery for over 18 hours
- Swapped out another GPU, but the problem persisted
- Checked every connector on the motherboard
- Tested different RAM modules

Attempt to energize the system without the sleeved extension or cables and observe if the original wiring restores functionality.
Test using a different wall outlet in your room or the one connected to your system, without the setup, to check for revival.
What is the age of the power supply unit in your build?
I attempted to connect the 24 pin connector directly without the sleeves, but it didn't work. The PSU I purchased this March also didn't function properly, even with my own unit. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

With two RAM modules, remove the second one and attempt to power on the CPU using just one RAM. If it works, install the second RAM. Reset the CMOS and verify the 24-pin connector and 8-pin ATX connector. If using M.2 NVMe, ensure it fits correctly in the slot.
I tried with 1 stick of ram, same issue, I also reset cmos many times and checked and retried the 24 pin connectors and tried a different psu connected to the motherboard too, still same issues and my partner has SSDS as storage, no m.2 slot on the motherboard, appreciate your help
