It seems your system experienced a crash after eight minutes of use on Furmark, and the reboot happened without your intervention. This situation could indicate hardware issues, software conflicts, or overheating. Have you checked for error messages or unusual behavior beforehand?

Here are the findings from Prime95. I have to say, interpreting this is quite challenging—like deciphering ancient symbols—but maybe someone here can help me understand. If what others are saying holds up, I’ll begin looking into a more powerful PSU as soon as I can afford it.

Undervolting your CPU and GPU is safe right now. You can restore their normal settings once you have a more powerful PSU.

You can adjust the game settings by lowering graphics options such as resolution, textures, and shadows. In FFVII Remake, these are the only available tweaks, which can be frustrating since everything needs to be present.

It wasn't just the reboot with Furmark affecting power usage, so the Prim95 test results weren't the main concern. This might point to either the GPU or PSU being the issue at this stage. I'd still favor checking the PSU first. Regarding FFVII Remake, running it at a lower resolution and texture quality should reduce complexity without needing undervolting.

It wasn't Corsair RAM that caused the problem, was it? Many folks have shared similar concerns recently, all pointing to Corsair RAM paired with Ryzen processors. Apparently, Ryzen doesn't perform well with Corsair RAM anymore, and Crucial Ballistix has proven to be a better choice in my experience. Updated June 19, 2022 by An0maly_76 Revision, more info

I avoid Corsair RAM after the poor support they provided during my previous RMA request because of the same product ID versioning issue. For better reliability, consider purchasing from Crucial, Samsung, or G.Skill based on your system needs.

It's true. The Corsair Vengeance Black 16GB at 3400MHz. I wasn't aware that could be the problem. We're coming to the same conclusion—that the power supply, GPU, or RAM might be the culprit. This is pretty frustrating since the GPU is currently unchangeable and with its performance it's hard to improve further without going too far. The RAM seems like the simpler fix, though it's odd that only two games have reported this if it's a RAM issue. That leaves the PSU, which most people think is the most probable cause.

So based on what happened, it seems like either my PSU or RAM might be the issue. Are there any ways I can fix it without buying new parts? I really want to enjoy the game at full speed.
