I resolved the problem by disconnecting all cables from the PSU to the PC, then blowing air into the PSU connectors before reconnecting everything. After that, launching Fortnite or games stopped triggering the 'check video cable' error, and the GPU was running smoothly without any underclocking. I ran a 15-minute system stability test on an AMD64 setup with everything verified, and it didn’t fail. This issue had been really stressful for me, so I’m relieved it’s finally fixed and I couldn’t find a solution online.
