I'm trying to assemble a new PC and the BIOS isn't appearing. It's showing an error message AB, indicating a SETUP Input wait. I'm unsure if a BIOS is installed or not because I have a USB stick with the BIOS and drivers. Even after resetting the CMOS or flashing the BIOS, nothing happens. My specs are: CPU Intel 10900k, motherboard MSI z590 gaming carbon, RAM Corsair Dominator 32GB at 3600Mhz, GPU MSI RX 3070 Ti gaming x trio, cooling Aorus WaterForce 360, case Bequiet Dark Base 700. After completion it should display ERROR CODE b4, which suggests a USB hot plug issue.

Some mainboards fail to recognize the keyboard, which usually occurs with certain servers.

The issue also occurs when no USB is connected, and the problem only changes when a USB drive is inserted. It displays error codes 27 or 24, indicating OEM pre-memory initialization codes. I'm really worried about this right now.

Could the speed be too high because of the 3600 MHz? It seems the motherboard controls might only reduce performance, not increase it. I might think the RAM is actually slower than expected.

That doesn't seem to fit the setup. If it wasn't set up in the BIOS, it should normally operate at 2133 MHz by default. The 3600 MHz rating is only the maximum performance it can achieve.

Thanks for the assistance, but it seems my BIOS was quite old and didn’t recognize the 3070ti. I replaced the GPU, entered the BIOS, and now I’m setting up Windows while trying to install the NVIDIA drivers.

It seems odd, but maybe a new update will resolve the issue...

It seems the new BIOS didn't improve anything, right? You're wondering what else you could try.
