Attempted various methods already—like using the reset button with power on for ten seconds—but none helped. I also tried adding more RAM just in case, but that didn’t work either.

Really, you’ll probably need a bit more memory to run this test. Do you know anyone nearby who might help? GSKill or Crucial would be great options.

Yeah... it was a bit odd but it ran smoothly with the available RAM for about 10 to 20 minutes during the Windows 10 setup. I didn’t change the BIOS settings at all. I ordered this to check out the HyperX 16GB Fury DDR4 2666MHz 1Rx8 Non-ECC CL16 (Kit of 2) [HX426C16FB3K2/16]. It’s listed as compatible, and since it’s at 2666 MHz—not 3200—I’ll keep you updated. Thanks!

I attempted a single stick of RAM in slot 2. Have you checked any other slots for that same stick? Did you test the different RAM sticks in other slots? It might be just one defective RAM module, while the others are working properly. The estimated time of about 10 to 20 minutes suggests a faulty or damaged RAM stick. As the Windows installation proceeds, more information is being written to the RAM. Likely there is a faulty chip or bad cells within one of the RAM modules. When the system attempts to access that defective memory, it fails and displays the DRAM error indicator.

I was puzzled about my current daily driver's performance. My RAM usage stayed under 60%, but I kept returning the product multiple times because I never realized it was my ASUS motherboard. The RAM brand kindly replaced it, which was a big help. Swapping the motherboard resolved the issue—though it took longer than a fresh build. It seems the RAM controller on the board might be the problem. If this solution doesn’t work, I’ll definitely return the board.

I'm facing the same issue too. My GIGABYTE X570 AORUS ULTRA has the DRAM light blinking, and I've tried everything except disconnecting the power cable for 10 minutes. It's definitely not a RAM fault—I've tested with other RAM modules and it works fine.

I faced the same issue and clearing all but one drive resolved it.
