The AORUS B550i fails to power on when using the 3070 chipset.
I'm having trouble getting my Gigabyte B550i to start with the Asus 3070 EKWB. It boots fine on another GPU (GTX 1050 and RTX 2070) and another system. I suspect the problem is with the communication between my 3070 and the motherboard—possibly a faulty riser cable or missing GPU driver. I've updated the BIOS to the latest version (FDa) and set it to force a PCI-e 3.0 connection with specific settings. So far, nothing seems to work. I've attached a boot video for reference. My system details: Ubuntu 22.04.3 Desktop, Lian Li Q58 (White), PCIe 4.0, new motherboard, BIOS vFDa, CPU AMD Ryzen 9 5900x, RTX3070 GPU, RAM G.Skill Tident Z NEO, M.2 SSDs and SSDs listed.
Considering an upgrade might be the issue, as the PSU could be insufficient. I experienced this before purchasing a new card and running it on an older power supply—it would start occasionally but not often. Deleting memory modules and other low-power components helped it boot, indicating the PSU was likely the problem.
