I recently assembled a brand new computer for the first time. It operated smoothly and looked good overall. When I powered it on for the first time, the RAM wasn’t functioning properly. I adjusted the DOCP settings but the issue persisted. I manually set the RAM speed to 3600 MHz, yet it didn’t work. I checked online resources, but no one provided a solution. Is there anyone familiar with this setup who can help resolve the problem?

Parts List: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, EVGA Nvidia 3070 Ti, ASUS ROG Strix B550 WiFi motherboard, Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro, 32GB DDR4 3600 MHz RAM, Samsung 970 EVO Plus, 2TB SSD.

It's running at a moderate pace, maintaining a steady speed throughout.

The motherboard features distinct DOCP configurations. Enabling DOCP and adjusting the frequency to around 3466 MHz works.

Only two options are available: auto and docp. There might be an incorrect BIOS version installed. The Advanced BIOS indicates a 3600MHz clock, while the Easy BIOS shows 2133MHz.

In easy BIOS it displays the present configuration and whether XMP/DOCP is active. The 3600 value shown corresponds to the DOCP profile, but it stays at 2133 until the system powers off (regrettably in your situation the CPU speed doesn't adjust). You might need to give the CPU a short memory training session—have you tried enabling DOCP and restarting?

Your bio doesn't list a "Memory Try It" feature—it appears exclusive to MSI.
