Do you have sufficient space on your HDD? It’s worth noting that using the original format right away in the editor is preferable to compressing and then compressing again.

LovingGamer suggests avoiding Dxotry and recommends MSI Afterburner or Nvidia Shadowplay. The key is recording games at maximum settings—native resolution, high bitrate, 60 FPS. In Vegas Pro, apply these configurations. Just switch the resolution to 720p if needed. Here are the output files on my channel.
