I'm still setting up and this testing will probably be done over the next week or so. Thinking over my Sunday morning coffee, I'm now wondering adding some clock testing to this also. I've been kinda choosing the tests that I think are most interesting, as that is still a lot of testing and will take considerable time. Respect to those who do massive group tests every time new hardware come out. I'm not set up for that, so I have to be more selective. Part of my reasoning for choosing 4.0 GHz fixed clock previously was that it is easy and safe to hit, while still in the rough ball park of actual operating clocks. From memory, I think I've seen all core speeds to 4.2-ish on the 3700X, so that's only around 5% delta with the fixed clock vs stock operation. Outside of Prime95-like usage, that should run anything I throw at it. But I'm thinking now, for a smaller number of conditions, I may try to vary clock also. Perhaps: 4+4 (3700X actual) at 4.0 GHz, stock (88W PPT), PBO. 4+0 (3300X like) at 4.0 GHz, 88W PPT, PBO. For either case, I'm undecided if I want to do one at lower clock also. This should give a taste of how much influence clock has on the results. By my count, this is a minimum of 14 unique hardware settings. For each one I will probably run 3 games. My concern here is that I probably want to run each test more than once to make sure I don't get a duff result. So, that's a lot of benchmarking!

Among the different opinions I've read, this third F1 2019 title consistently performs well with CPU scaling.
I thought this could be the one I actually own, but it's not. My version is F1 2015. A brief check shows there was a time-limited demo for 2019 that has already ended. So it seems this isn't available. I won't pick the third game until I try it myself, so I remain open to suggestions. To avoid "I don't have that game" replies, the best approach would be to stick only to titles with a free trial or a dedicated benchmark version.
It might seem silly at first, but large maps in Minecraft can be adjusted to any size. You can begin with a small project and gradually increase it, observing the impact on performance across different CPU counts.
They mentioned a different version of the game lasting five in-game days, roughly 100 minutes, along with other conditions. I'm not sure if that will be enough for practical use—it's not just about the waiting time, but also getting comfortable and finding something engaging to practice.
Yea fair enough Just wanted to maybe suggest Minecraft What about subnautica It went free on epic games ( it usually costs 25 bucks on steam ) And it kills both the cpu and the GPU Tho I don't know if it still free on epic Maybe it's worth checking ?
