It would be fascinating to observe the impact of age on performance. I'm curious about how Thresh/Fatality's current score compares to his earlier days, especially given the increased competitiveness in e-sports today. The rise of gaming houses and professional scenes has changed the landscape significantly. While practice might help, it's unclear if it would truly alter results after just playing games.

Age plays a significant role in reaction times. From my observations with pro players in the CS scene, I believe peak performance occurs around 17-20 years for males, while I don’t have data on females. Younger players tend to show better reaction times consistently. However, it’s important to note that reaction times aren’t as decisive in CS as one might think. Experience and tactical awareness often matter more than simply pressing buttons. For example, many top players have average reaction times but benefit from years of game experience.

I don’t understand why everyone else seems so talented while mine was around 284 to 339. I thought I wasn’t doing well, but I never realized how bad I really was.

I'm 37 now and not as quick as I used to be, but I still manage. That might explain why I cherish memories of Starsiege Tribes. I was at my best back then.
