I came across something on Neogaf that was quite interesting. The site has a reaction time test at http://www.humanbenchmark.com/tests/reactiontime. I feel a bit nostalgic, as I’m getting older. Those young players seem to react incredibly quickly.

3000ms, match my pace. Right now I’m processing between 230-280ms. I think fatigue and two and a half apple juices are affecting speed. I’ll give it another shot tomorrow.

They probably make their income through gaming. 100 ms. Those players seem unrealistic.

It looks like you're talking about performance speeds. You mentioned aiming for around 100ms and that the mid-200s feels optimal for you.

I understand the average is real. I was just sharing my results.

Review your typical reaction. You pressed without fully reading the details, which means it’s just chance. Most people take 200-250ms to respond; those who get 100ms might be cheating or manipulating the system.

I doubt 100ms is truly achievable consistently. Those who reset seem to do so whenever they don’t hit five in a row by chance. I’m competitive in CS and usually land around 180 points. Many pros average between 180 and 280. LOL, that’s about 238 on average.

I understand. I shared that in the hope others would notice the average. Just happened to be lucky once.
