That's what I initially believed, but if others are suggesting W10 doesn't really check, or perhaps the 30-day grace period is an option, that could work. If I'm relying on YouTube income, I'd be willing to spend whatever I need. However, I already have to purchase a test bench, PC case, power supply, and other items, so I think investing in a good test bench would really help me manage my costs.

There is no grace period on Windows 10. You can use it indefinitely. It's legal too. It will be considered as pirated if you use any activator. You can't just use some personalization.
