Completed my initial setup but am concerned about CPU temperatures. Using the standard Wraith Cooler, I see idle temps between 40-50°C. Under light use (just a few tabs and HW Monitor), it can climb into the 70s. Not yet gaming, so it’s hard to tell if it’s the chip, cooler, or driver issues. The screenshot shows a peak of 75°C during Epic Launcher installation with all cores at boost.

That's fine. Either way idle temps don't matter. Load temps do.

Core Temp is problematic. Run Ryzen Master. Add AMD chipset drivers from their site and refresh your BIOS.

You're facing an issue where downloading chipset drivers from the motherboard site partially installed, but you keep getting error 1603. Installing drivers from AMD might conflict with those already in place. It's best to try AMD's version first to avoid further conflicts. If that doesn't work, stick with the original source unless you're sure it's compatible.

This setup shows two monitors connected to a system and two software tools installed right after launching Steam. The performance numbers indicate different CPU temperatures: 62°C on the HW Monitor and 47°C on the Ryzen Master. To determine reliability, consider factors like thermal management, usage patterns, and stability over time.

HW Monitor isn't working properly. It's severely damaged. Only Ryzen Master seems reliable, which is concerning. You might need to reinstall the operating system and ensure the correct drivers are installed, as a chipset driver mismatch could lead to serious problems.

I believe your temperatures in RM are quite consistent... It might be worth attempting to resolve the 1603 error before reinstalling the OS, as it feels a bit intimidating. Can you find out which chipset driver version you're using? Appreciate your support!

Ryzen Master was built to function with Ryzen right from the start. HWMonitor has consistently been problematic over the years. Consider reinstalling the operating system—faulty firmware often leads to complicated and frustrating problems.
