During these initial Ryzen 3rd generation periods, the power supply voltage appears somewhat inconsistent. A BIOS upgrade in about a month might stabilize temperatures, though exceeding 80°C during regular operation remains a concern.

The room stays warm at about 30-35°C since I'm in Cyprus, where summers are very hot.

I might consider swapping out the thermal paste and putting the cooler back together again.

It’s not about the paste or the cooler. The performance just gets intense. I usually hit 85°C with the stock cooler, but with the H100i it’s around 60 now while I’m gaming. That chip is really getting hot.

An AMD chipset driver seemed to address the issue, yet my Ryzen 5 3600x continues to face temperature issues due to excessive voltage during idle. We should hold off on the next BIOS update until it fully resolves the problem.

Your idle voltage should be around 1 volt or less. You're currently measuring between .3 to .8 volts at idle. Avoid using Ryzen Master for this check—it disrupts the CPU's idle state and changes its voltage. Cpuz performs better and doesn't interfere with your CPU during idle. If you're not seeing readings below 1 volt, it suggests an issue in your setup that prevents proper idle operation.

It's a small issue with the latest Ryzen 3000 line that should be resolved in the upcoming BIOS upgrade. The voltage during idle and other operations is around 1.44V, causing the CPU to run hotter than usual.
