It's just 65 degrees Fahrenheit here. I mainly use a mid-50s setup with a R5 3600X, running Heaven, Timespy, and games. I also have solid case cooling.

It doesn't appear to be a problem with the Ryzen 3000. Perhaps the issue lies with your motherboard's BIOS settings, or with some software running in the background. I suspect there might be an incorrect configuration in your BIOS or something affecting system performance. If you're seeing low voltage readings—around 1.4 volts—it indicates something is wrong and should be adjusted. The ideal idle range is between 1.2 to 1.4 volts. If it's higher, the CPU isn't properly entering idle mode. Make sure your setup meets these specifications for optimal performance.

The recent message came across in a harsher tone than intended. It wasn’t meant to reflect the usual behavior, and there’s something causing it to activate from idle when it shouldn’t.

Hey, its Aug 2020 and my 3600 is just as the one in this thread hot like that and at 1.3V idle. I have the latest drivers and bios provided by ASUS ( I have the ROG Strix B450). Any help? Also I have thermal grizzly Kryonaut because I thought that could be a problem.
