The issue is severe—I can't access Windows at all. I immediately experience this BSOD. Logging in with safe mode doesn't help either. It's really frustrating. Any assistance would be appreciated.

No, the CMOS hasn't been cleared yet.

If it functions in safe mode, the problem likely lies with hardware. Begin by resetting CMOS as @Tan3l6 recommended, then reapply XMP settings to your RAM. If this doesn't resolve the issue, attempt to test each RAM stick by booting with only one installed to identify a faulty component.

Most people think it's a driver problem. Should I go ahead and clear the CMOS?

Could be a driver problem, yet resetting the CMOS doesn't cause any issues.

If the problem lies with the driver, it shouldn't fail when entering safe mode. Removing CMOS is a solid first step.

I took out the battery, messed with the pins, and now the PC is running but nothing is happening.

Did you disconnect the power source before removing the battery? When you mention shorting the pins, are you referring to the CMOS jumper? You should perform just one of these actions, not both. If you remove the battery, keep the power button pressed on your PC to dissipate any remaining power. It’s usually safer to leave the battery in and the device unplugged for about half an hour. Make sure you didn’t attempt to remove the battery while the power supply was active, as that could damage your motherboard.

It was clearly unplugged. The fans were spinning, GPU lights were flashing, but the screen remained blank. No window logo, no motherboard logo, no BIOS displayed anything.

Consider setting the battery aside for half an hour to determine if it resolves the problem.
