Hi, I was struggling a lot while playing Valorant and never experienced this issue before. I noticed frequent lag spikes dropping from 144 to 50 FPS, but I managed to cap it at 60 FPS. Still, lag persisted, so I performed a system reset. After that, I reinstalled Valorant and the issue improved to just 1 FPS. In Task Manager, I saw around 33% RAM usage, 9% GPU, and about 15% CPU, with the M.2 drive at 40%. Do you think this is the cause of the problem?

Do you have a specialized graphics card and have you updated the newest software from Nvidia or AMD?

It seems like you're expressing confusion about something not changing. You mentioned it was your thought but then added a dismissive tone. Let me know how I can help!

I opened up today and all the Windows updates were applied, it wasn't that severe but it's still an issue. The frame rate dropped from 40 to 5 frames per second now.
