You started everything correctly and everything seemed fine in BIOS. You changed the boot method but didn’t follow the proper steps for USB installation. After saving your settings and restarting, you realized the display was missing. The CMOS battery still needs to be charged for a few minutes. Try resetting it again and ensure the USB drive is properly connected. If the issue persists, check the USB port or power supply.

Are you utilizing a separate GPU? If yes, and your CPU supports IGPU, attempt to use it to check for a display. Consider removing the GPU temporarily and reinserting it. For alternatives, experiment with various display cables or ports on your graphics card.

I extended the CMOS battery life and finally cleared it, but after entering BIOS I restarted the computer with XMP enabled. It now returns to showing no display and requires me to clear the CMOS again before it loads. Could anyone explain why this is happening? I’m planning to clear the CMOS once more and then update the BIOS, but I’m unsure what else to do.

It seems your RAM might not support XMP settings. Consider changing the slots your RAM uses if you have extra ones. The issue could also relate to your GPU not accepting the XMP overclock since it treats RAM as VRAM and resists changes when XMP is active. If this applies, a dedicated GPU might resolve the problem.

I refreshed the BIOS and opened it, yet nothing changed—I powered it off and on again to verify, but the problem persists.

According to the Intel Arc documentation, the 7600k can run DDR4 at up to 2400MHz, and it should handle 3200MHz easily using XMP settings. Usually, resetting the BIOS by pressing one of the F keys will resolve the issue. If this fixes it, the problem likely lies with the GPU not accepting the memory overclock. You may need to use slower RAM until you acquire a compatible GPU. Hope this assists!

After clearing the CMOS, XMP returns to disabled because it was set by default and wasn't activated after the BIOS update. It seems unrelated to RAM, though. A friend provided me with a new motherboard and CPU, which worked perfectly initially. The only change affecting image display is the RAM, but it boots up normally and shows both sticks. Maybe after the first boot the connection between CPU and RAM gets altered? I’m not sure how this could happen and might be mistaken. Thanks for your help!
