Well, typically there are four slots available. Each second corresponds to one channel, managed by the CPU. The first and third slots should share the same channel, forming a pair or a single unit. The second and fourth slots represent the alternate channel. Tabs are usually positioned on both sides, so press them to release a RAM chip. For slot 1 and 3, press the top and bottom locks. Then do the same for slot 2. Insert slot 1 into slot 3, and remove it from slot 2. Repeat this process for slot 4 by taking it out and placing it in slot 3. Align the other two with the middle notch as they’re slightly offset, then press them in. Continue until it clicks on both sides. Do the same for the final slot.
