I don't have a direct memory of past installations, but I can help you check when you last installed Windows or another operating system if you provide details about your device and the version you're using.

A quick and reliable method to determine whether the problem lies with hardware or software is to use a Windows 7 installation CD and perform a complete reinstall. Back up photos, songs, and other files, but avoid backing up programs. After installing the new Windows, run it as if nothing had happened. If performance remains poor, the issue likely stems from hardware such as the CPU, GPU, or RAM. Let me know how that turns out for you.

I tried to steer clear of that issue, but now everything is running smoothly and more efficiently than before. Your assistance made a big difference.
