Hey there, I noticed the updates were coming nonstop for the last couple of days and then my PC started acting sluggish—slow, laggy, around 5 frames per second. I ran scans for malware and viruses, but both came back clean. CCcleaner finished its job. No signs of infection, but performance is definitely down. My specs are: Intel i7-4770k, GTX 780 SC, EVGA ASUS ROG Maximus VI, 32 GB RAM, 750W Corsair IX. Any tips to improve this?

I don't have a specific number, but I can check for any active antivirus or malware protection software on your system. Let me know if you'd like me to do that.

Malware strikes quickly, and Kaspersky antivirus helps. It becomes even more serious when I use dual monitors.

MalwareBlaster is a tool designed to detect and remove malicious software. Kaspersky uses it as part of their security solutions.

You don’t need to disable real-time protection just for weekly scans. It’s safe to keep it active.

Attempt to start as it may hinder performance, any activity using over 50% of resources is noticeable

It's unusual that the task manager never reaches its full capacity, no matter the settings. Running this system for several months without noticeable performance issues is quite surprising.

I haven't tried turning it on and off again. Your questions are clear—please share your thoughts. How old is your computer? Did you receive it second-hand? Did you assemble it yourself? When did you first notice performance issues? Is the noise constant or only during gameplay? Can you measure temperatures while idle versus when playing? Have you cleaned the internal components recently? I’ll help if you answer these.

It's possible the version you're using has problems, leading to errors.
