Sure, I understand. You're using a Gigabyte motherboard now. Your observations are valid, and it seems like the issue might be related to a moth or another factor. I'm confident ASUS will address it soon.

I believe it's not connected to AISuite or any related software. I turned off autostart and restarted the computer. The displayed RAM usage still shows more capacity used than what's actually available when you check via Task Manager. I'll look into it further.

Was das möglicherweise ein Problem mit dem Pagefile darstellt? Ich habe es von der Festplatte auf eine HDD verlegt, weil mir der Speicher auf der SSD ausgegangen war.

It might be a Windows issue. Yes, the page should match your RAM size. For troubleshooting, I’d let Windows handle it, restart it, and observe the behavior. If it functions correctly, you can reduce its size to fit your RAM if necessary. On all my Windows 8 devices, everything is set to default without any changes or service adjustments.

I have the same problem, I'm not reposting this thread. Where did you all find the details about the Windows 8.1 memory leak? Was there a relevant article? If you have one, could you share the link? I received this message: http://puu.sh/8zDl3/5313a2da27.png It's quite bothersome. I mentioned needing a restart only about two days after the last reboot.

I don’t recall the exact source of this information. I checked several forums and websites, but nothing specific matched what you mentioned. I’m still trying to figure out the cause of the issue. It seems the problem isn’t related to Rainmeter, XAMPP, AI Suite or Whatpulse. I also noticed it disappears when using Safemode with Network and Aurora 31.0a2 while playing Spotify.

It seems the issue could be linked to Windows Explorer. I began my computer each morning and left it running with Explorer turned off, yet everything else worked fine. When I returned home, the RAM usage dropped significantly to only 17-20%, which is unusual. It might be connected to Explorer somehow.

If this applies, likely the issue stems from an extension added to Explorer. It might be a new right-click option. These aren<|pad|> items aren't registry entries—they're loaded DLLs. A memory leak could cause Explorer to flag it as faulty because it's loading a problematic DLL. It could also relate to the toolbar. Perhaps a program installed a toolbar assuming XP, but Explorer loads it incorrectly after Vista removed ActiveX and IE. I saw someone fix a folder opening problem by uninstalling a CAD program. It might be worth checking CCleaner for loaded DLLs in the context menu and disabling them, then restarting.

It includes that section too. I turned off everything temporarily to see if the issue resolves. The unusual part was discovering two copies of WinRAR and another version, WinRAR32. I have the WinRAR installer but will test it in this setup. Appreciate the helpful tips!
