All files ending with ".agho" can be accessed after deletion, though they may become corrupted. Please assist... I attempted to restore Windows but it didn't work, and I have no other backups.

Try reinstalling Windows and restoring your backup. Otherwise, you might have lost the data unless you opt to pay or use a backup.

First step would be to turn off or disconnect all Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections.

I'm using Windows Defender and attempted to run a scan with Malwarebytes, but it didn't work.

If your information is crucial, ensure you have a recent backup. Without one, you've likely faced a significant setback. Attempting to decrypt with free tools usually fails. You may need to erase your drive and reinstall Windows, which can save you time in the long run. Once functioning again, invest in an external hard drive and back it up promptly. Recurring issues could cost you a small fortune, so act quickly.

The best solution is to fully reinstall Windows on a completely reformatted drive.
