there isn't a speaker but I keep the CMOS active and I posted a video test of the PCI regularly. Now and then I check the PSU.

I'm back in Windows, seems like a crash messed up my CMOS and forced a BIOS reset. It's working fine now—fast boot, great system! Thanks, Assist Guy.
