Hello everyone! I switched my graphics card from a 4070ti to a 5080 last Friday. The problem I’m facing is that my PC powers on, but nothing appears on the monitors. I can turn it off and back on, which then brings me to safe mode. The PC functions for around two days before the same pattern repeats. I’ve seen online suggestions about the PSU or RAM possibly being the cause, but I’m not sure because my system worked fine before I changed the graphics card. I’m hoping it’s just a new graphics issue, which should be simple to fix since the purchase was recent.

PC specs: CPU: 13700k RAM: GSKILL DDR5 32GB Motherboard: Asus Prime Z790-A Wi-Fi GPU: Gigabyte 5080 PSU: Corsair RM 1000x

Could be a Windows problem that always happens when shutting down after installing a new GPU without reinstalling.

I thought similarly. I reinstalled windows yesterday, yet the problem kept happening this afternoon.

It seems there might be some confusion. The gigabyte and Asus PSU look fine, but you're unsure about the SSD you have.

My device is a 2TB Samsung 980 Pro. The previous graphics card was from MSI and it worked fine.

Regarding PCIe cable for GPU, there might be some concerns about Intel models. It's possible that the motherboard could encounter issues with the BIOS.

Certainly try rmi as the GPU might cause issues with the 5080—it seems chip availability is limited these days.
