It was meant for 11 people, so don't try to reduce that number down to anything lower like 10.
It's not really dangerous, but you might have a specific part in your laptop like the hard drive that doesn't work with Windows 10 or 8 drivers. This makes it tricky. It also takes extra time and effort. What kind of computer is this? Could we find out what model it is? Probably if the setup starts asking for a code from the BIOS, you'd have to stop there. But I would rather know exactly that first because most laptop bios only show some limited info.
It's the 2023 Asus Zephyrus G14. When I've tried messing with the BIOS settings during the setup, it feels pretty open compared to a normal computer. Do I need to follow the steps from the video in my earlier post?
I have drivers for Windows 10 but not for Win 8. If you want to switch back, just go there. But if you chose ROG Zephyrus G14 on ASUS Global rog.asus.com, Google won't help find that model either. Deactivating the key in the BIOS doesn't work here either. I don't think I should trust that video. Did you try installing Windows without internet? I can't see any proof it is trying to enter a key right now at installation time, but activation usually happens after the OS is installed. So maybe it's getting started from the internet and not from the BIOS.
