EA games show the poorest optimization I've seen. Of course, I don't play every title, but it might just reflect my habits. Still, I think the console it runs on won't struggle much—even for the minimum settings.

If I had made a PC instead of getting that laptop, I wouldn't have the ability to relocate my items, which is something I really need. I'm not sure why folks don't grasp that point. Sure, we all know laptops offer a much lower performance for their price, but that's not the main reason people choose them. Also, building a PC with a 970 would have been even more expensive.

Beyond the RAM specs, I don’t understand the importance much. I’ve been able to run Battlefield 4 on 32-player servers with ultra settings using an i3 3220 and a 770. As someone who enjoys many titles, it seems EA’s Frostbite engine and its tuning are solid choices. Other games would likely need a more powerful setup, like an i7 or a project car. There are even worse optimization options available in other titles such as Arma, ETS 2, and TERA. I’m not aiming to start a debate—I just want to support one of the few improvements EA has made recently.

I understand, but I believe these specifications are too high given the console's capabilities.

They often suggest skipping a weaker GPU, purchasing it, and then grumbling about the mismatched specifications. They seem to prioritize caution for those less familiar with gaming tech.

Ahhh, thats a completely different thing. You can't compare the two. When devs make games for consoles. They only have one system to code for, this means you can code it to suit the console. Since they're all the same inside there's less hassle. Where as PC, you have to literally make the game run on thousands of CPU, GPU and RAM combinations. Also, since PC's have more power than a console the devs can throw in more pretty graphics and larger maps with more players. Hence the need for a i5 and a 970. PC's get a bigger more versatile game than consoles do

I've mentioned my concerns before about the optimization. If it performs well at 720p on the Xbox One, it should work fine on a lower setting on an 860m console. I wouldn't mind playing at lower resolutions like 900p or 720p, but it seems to be failing completely.

I found it ridiculous that the system needed 16GB of RAM. Such a silly requirement!
