Dell occasionally sets both laptops and desktops to "RAID ready." This means a single drive comes with RAID enabled in the BIOS, and Windows uses a RAID controller driver, but no actual RAID setup with additional drives. You have two choices for the drive: either insert another SSD, load the RAID driver into your OS's boot file, and stick with the current BIOS settings, or switch off RAID, revert to AHCI mode, and reinstall the OS in AHCI without any RAID drivers. Both methods work unless you specifically need a RAID configuration.
It's better to source comparable sticks from one manufacturer, but if the specifications match, it should work. In practice, most RAM performs adequately. Affordable 2133 RAM is usually acceptable unless you're concerned about cost. Instead, check the brand and details of your existing RAM and aim for a compatible match.
The likely outcome is uncertain, though improbable. Laptops like yours generally function within JEDEC-set performance ranges, ensuring compatibility across memory types. Desktop RAM with XMP overclocks could pose issues because various memory chips need precise timing settings; mismatched configurations might lead to instability. For your setup, the chances favor stability, as laptop memory systems are less rigid and rarely stray far from standard specifications unless specifically engineered for gaming performance.
