My outcomes were not what I expected, even though I thought I was correct. After checking with dxdiag that DX12 was active, I built a batch file with the specified command. Initially, I tested the app alone, assuming it operated in DX11 mode since CPU usage was around 40% and GPU was fully utilized. When I executed the batch file, I saw an immediate FPS drop of about 10 frames per second. The CPU load fell to roughly 20%, but the Elemental Demo terminated within a short time. I still have more testing to conduct and issues to resolve, but currently it’s a setback for me. @Xeontic @ThTheMarD

The initial update was DX11, which I thought was a mistake. Here are the DX12 outcomes: peak FPS is 38, typical FPS ranges from 20 to 23, and the lowest drops to 12 during the ending when the ice guy appears. Surprised by this.

Confirming details: the improved version is labeled DX12, while the standard release comes from the original OP link as DX11.

Previously reviewed this comparison. DirectX12 shows poorer performance.

There appears to be some inconsistency. My previous tests showed different outcomes compared to your other thread, but now I'm uncertain. Edit: It seems you might have mixed things up, as the lens flare problem was specific to DX12 and a few others.
