My outcomes were not what I expected, even though I thought I was correct. After checking with dxdiag that DX12 was active, I built a batch file with the specified command. Initially, I tested the app alone, assuming it operated in DX11 mode since CPU usage was around 40% and GPU was fully utilized. When I executed the batch file, I saw an immediate FPS drop of about 10 frames per second. The CPU load fell to roughly 20%, but the Elemental Demo terminated within a short time. I still have more testing to conduct and issues to resolve, but currently it’s a setback for me. @Xeontic @ThTheMarD
The initial update was DX11, which I thought was a mistake. Here are the DX12 outcomes: peak FPS is 38, typical FPS ranges from 20 to 23, and the lowest drops to 12 during the ending when the ice guy appears. Surprised by this.
Confirming details: the improved version is labeled DX12, while the standard release comes from the original OP link as DX11.
