I attempted to run CS:GO today and noticed around 30 FPS with noticeable stuttering. It's unusual given my usual performance of 1080p at 100-150 FPS on high settings. The laptop runs an i7 4800MHz with 3GB RAM and a 770MB SSD. Could you help me understand what might be causing this issue?

The system is utilizing the 770M processor, not relying on the CPU's built-in graphics.

Thermal throttling is something you might notice with a laptop. Look at the temperatures while using it. Are you connecting it to a power source? Perhaps some energy-saving measures are limiting its performance.

Verify power-saving settings are disabled, yet the laptop remains connected, then open CPU-Z during use to identify the issue.

It's a bit warm here—could be a laptop cooling issue or just some dust buildup.

I’m using a cooling pad now. Cleaning dust is tricky—check the laptop’s manual for access points to the fans. If needed, gently open the case and remove the components carefully.

This feels odd after I restarted the game. It was still running smoothly while I was eating, but now it's working at 150 FPS on high settings. It seems strange that it didn’t freeze when I left it open earlier.
