Hey! It sounds like your PC is having some performance hiccups even with basic games. Since you've updated your system and changed drivers, it might not be hardware-related. The fact that stuttering feels like it's happening without a drop in FPS is unusual. Could try checking for background processes, updating all software, or testing with lighter applications to see if the issue persists. Let me know what you find!

Sorry, the setup performs well but doesn’t consistently stay below 70°C during heavy use. The GTX 770 Phantom stays under 60°C most of the time. With 8GB DDR3 at 1333MHz, it should handle the workload efficiently. Would you like to upgrade further?

Yes, you can check similar tools to MSI Afterburner to track GPU and VRAM activity during gameplay. This stuttering might stem from various factors, including random drops in GPU usage or issues like a VRAM buffer overflow. While maxing out VRAM is a possible reason, it shouldn't occur consistently in games such as CS:GO. Additionally, some users report a memory leak in Windows 8 and 8.1 that can affect game performance, though this is not universal and lacks a confirmed solution.

Thank you for the details. Your situation could be due to limited VRAM or using Windows 8.1.

Absolutely, CS:GO can really drain your VRAM if you're not careful. Using MSI Afterburner can help track the stats and pinpoint the problem.

I recall something about GPU usage when you mentioned GPU usage... I use K-BOOST to prevent the card from lowering itself, which keeps the GPU usage at 0% all the time. However, I can turn it off whenever I want. Is K-BOOST problematic in any way? It seems possible that it could be the cause of the issue. If so, running the card without it might lead to stuttering in less demanding games due to reduced performance.

While gaming CS:GO, GPU consumption was around 30% with VRAM usage at roughly 1GB or 2GB. The GPU temperature hovered near 50°C, CPU stayed around 40°C, and FPS remained mostly stable at 66 (overclocked display) though it occasionally dropped to about 60, causing noticeable stutter.

Sometimes in certain games the FPS seems stuck at 66, yet I continue to experience stuttering.

CPU load may spike to around 85% from time to time. Would increasing the overclock to 4.5 be a good idea?
