If you're silver it won't be simple to reach GE, probably taking a year or more. Playing against GEs while I was MG2 really hurt me—2-24 KDA.
I'm a global well, but I had to stop when I joined a bad team and lost my rank.
Hey, focus on getting through Gold Nova first instead of worrying about going global right now. Those smurfs and derankers in the ranks really complicate things. You’ll mostly need to be independent most of the time to succeed. Prioritize your team above all else. Forget the cases—just sell them and buy what you want. Spending on cases and keys is a waste; you could’ve gotten that item elsewhere anyway.
The items you need to purchase are these: - ... the products you shouldn't buy are these: - all other things.
I faced DMG/LE and scored around 15 out of 24 KD while playing MGE, then dropped to MG2 due to my teammates' mistakes. The gap in skill between MG2 and MGE is quite big.
Avoid opening cases to prevent losing interest or developing a dislike. Stick to using only the AK47 and M4, and consider adding the Awp if you're confident. Keep your mouse sensitivity very low—around 180 degrees across the entire pad. I'm LEM; feel free to ask for tailored advice. MG2 seems quite similar to GNM in NA/US. I noticed MG2 achieving a 2/24 K/D in a game against MGE. I’d love to return to silver when things were simpler...(It took me about 9-10 months from S2 to MGE, with some breaks along the way)
