Attempted all previous solutions multiple times. Left the battery unused for more than 30 minutes. Eventually, nothing functioned, so I disassembled everything, tested the PSU using just the MB connector and a paperclip, and the fan started. Rebuilt the PC completely, but still no power when I pressed the power button. I’m convinced I somehow disabled the MB initially, which seems unlikely.

Believe it's the MB, no other issues to consider. The PSU is functioning properly after testing.

Disappointing. Likely the issue lies with the board.

Yes, if everything is properly linked, only the power cord needs to be connected.

The board can upload without a CPU for BIOS updates, but that’s limited. For regular posts, you’ll need CPU, RAM, and GPU installed. You can remove drives and other components.

Sounds like you're feeling pretty resigned about the situation. Seems like you're planning to replace the board, hoping it fixes things and avoids further issues. It's a bit frustrating when a small change doesn't solve bigger problems.

That's what it sounds like. Usually the frame doesn't break, but with electronics things can go wrong. I think the board might be having a problem. Apologies if I caused any concern.

Hi, I'll check if I can return it through MSI, though I'm uncertain about their warranty duration. The system has been in use for just over two years now.

Here’s a revised version of your update:

Just a note on progress: The old motherboard was indeed dead, but I managed to snag a decent deal on a new B550 board and swapped it out today. The PC finally started up. Still facing an issue though—my secondary SSD, which uses a SATA connection, isn’t showing up in both Windows and the BIOS. At first I thought it wasn’t properly connected to the power supply, but that didn’t help. I haven’t tested different cables yet, as the drive was otherwise fully functional for about a year and hasn’t been heavily used. Any advice would be appreciated.
