Stop purchasing games priced over $60 USD!
Most games take advantage of this mechanism similarly to the Battlefield series!
I understand your view, but I really question whether your message or request will make any difference. Also, I found myself tempted to buy GTA V
Battlefield stays true to its roots, delivering a solid core experience. You invest once, and you can enjoy it for many years. Premium options are available, or you can purchase DLCs individually as they release. Weapon packs aren’t mandatory, letting casual players explore weapons without needing to complete every level. A speed boost feature is fully optional for those who prefer a quicker pace.
When the game is enormous, offering it at a low cost might result in a loss rather than a gain... It really depends on the actual value of the game. If it's worth its price, it's fine; but if it feels like Assassin's Creed Unity, I wouldn't be interested.
I've been playing PC games for over 15 years now. From my experience, new releases usually cost around sixty dollars or more, especially in this market. Plus, there were many full-price expansions available. Considering inflation, I think we're in a fairly stable position right now.
I might purchase it when the price hits $30! Likewise for BF Hardline
It's strange how I still recall buying Diablo 1 or Divine Divinity for just 399 SEK back then. Back then, many PC titles were similarly priced, while consoles usually ranged from 599 to 699 SEK. Console prices never dropped that low, unless you bought from a questionable seller who added extra fees. Even now it hasn't reached the 500 SEK mark, but the trend is definitely upward.
