it doesn't need to be switched off, after all... this wasn't a problem on x570 x570 doesn't have that option. it's built into the setup as an overclocking feature, similar to how AMD treated it for Z390, turning it off by default.

It appears on certain X570 models, and it was included by default on the ASRock version I developed.

I focused on the coverage for X570 and didn’t notice any related boards. A quick search shows nothing about such a board. Also, PBO shouldn’t be mixed up with precision boost, which is typical boosting behavior.

B450 has never experienced this problem either... If some boards had it, it would likely be x570. So basically, it's not a concern.

It was either Tiachi or Steel. It’s nearing midnight for me, so I need to sleep. I’ll call my friend tomorrow morning and ask him to take me through the bios so I can confirm and get back to you.
